What the app does

Welcome to the secret world of Geocaching! Geocaching is a sort of technological treasure hunt that's sweeping the nation. CacheThat! creates a simplified interface for people to go an a great geocaching adventure. Just plug in the coordinates of the cache and CacheThat will allow you to see how far you are from the cache, find the direction you need to go, determine your location, altitude, accuracy and more, locate nearby caches, and log caches that you have found.

The app also sports a new "Easy mode" for new/inexperienced users.

Why it was built

Through Boy Scouts, Aditya was introduced to this very interesting worldwide game and after doing a few hunts himself, he quickly pulled in his friends and family. He really liked the idea of Geocaching and thought it was a great way to get exercise, explore, and have fun almost anywhere. However, when he tried to find a mobile app for Geocaching, he found that simple apps costed $10! He thought that he could change this, and created his own app to make the Geocaching process even more fun and user friendly.
