Want to create challenge-worthy apps? Want to participate in the House Student App Challenge but don’t know where to start?
MIT App Inventor’s Guide to Creating Challenge-Worthy Apps! A virtual live webinar (recorded LIVE on April 7, 2014, now available for viewing)
MIT’s App Inventor team is partnering with the Congressional App Challenge Coalition to offer a special hour-long webinar for middle and high schools students (and their mentors) who want to learn how to build an App with MIT App Inventor. The Webinar is geared toward to students enrolled in the House Student App Challenge as well as anyone who just wants to learn code. Webinar participants will learn how MIT App Inventor can help you design, build, and submit an Android app just in time for the April 30th deadline!
App Inventor is a blocks-based programming tool that makes developing Android Apps easy. The webinar will provide an introduction to App Inventor, share sample apps developed by ‘regular’ people, and share recent apps developed middle and high school students active in the App Inventor Community. Finally, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions of both the App Inventor and the House Student App Challenge teams. To participate, simply visit bit.ly/challengeworthyapps on Monday, 4/7 at 7 ET.
